BATUSINACKE BARE – THE PONDS OF BATUSINAC – WORLD WATER DAY 2013

On the occasion of the celebration of World Water Day – March 22 2013, president of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic with his associates, visited the part around old river bed of Juzna Morava river. This complex of still waters known as Batusinacke bare is situated in the immediate nearness of motorway E 75, some ten kilometers from Nis and comprises part of Palilula Municipal territory. Bara (the ponds) is favourite place for fishermen from Nis and surrounding. Batusinacke Bare first appeared as the result of the construction of the motorway E 75 and digging of new riverbed of Juzna Morava with which many of them are connected in sub- terrain area. This year theme of celebration of World water day is attracting attention to international and home public to the cooperation factor.
